My grill was a couple days late, but it finally arrived.
Now I am second-guessing my plans for customizing.
Here I have added the Studio Grill Legs and a Zav handle. I'm...underwhelmed.
The leg is pure white, the grill is off-white. The leg is dark blue, the kettle blue has more purple in it.
The reds are close enough to pass, I think.
The handle is beautiful for the black SJ it was purchased for - but I don't think the wood type looks good on this grill.
I think I may stick with all original on this kettle. My other options would be white front leg and 2 reds,
or all 3 red legs. Or, of course, the standard legs.
Any thoughts?

Great looking grill. I agree with you about the colored legs. The colors aren't a very close match to the kettle. The handle is beautiful but you are right, the wood type doesn't fit. Still. . . very cool looking grill. Well done. Will it be a cooker or for seasonal decoration?
I do like the grill...... do you think they used the Ivory color instead of the white on the bowl? It doesn't match the stars on the kettle lid either. Hard to tell the mismatches until you see that pure white leg on it.
I looked at the Walmart site again and I think I like the stock legs and handle better. My OCD would likely kick in with the customization color differences.
All that said, again I do like the grill and I think it would be fun to have for July 4th cooks.
Looks great! I think I would have to fit an old salvaged handle to the lid though and paint it as I have done with my modern Webers, and spray it blue. Reckon that would look great with some plain wooden logo handles . I am not a fan of the modern style plastic handles with the heat shields but that's just my opinion! Looks great oem and modded!

Thanks Anthony!
I'll probably have to cook at least once, then maybe decoration. ;)
Glad you can see the discrepancies - they are not as noticeable in my pics. The blue leg is almost denim blue in person. Or maybe ocean blue?
I will stare at it for a couple days but pretty sure I will wind up going with the factory look. It's still unique.
Silly of me to think I could do better than Weber! LOL

Thank you Bama!
Could be, I'll have to get my ivory to compare but I think this is lighter. The stars are WHITE, but the blue shows through a bit.
Your OCD would definitely have a problem with this. There is a small dimple in the ashpan and a few scrapes, but I'm not gonna worry about it. It's a $149 grill. :D
I agree it will definitely be cool for summer holidays.
Sorry about all the duplicates, I had to go to the computer. LOL

Thanks Tommy! That would look good too.
You are not alone, a lot of people don't care for the taco handle.
Wow! Stunning kettle.
And, yeah, that white leg looks a tad out of place.
The red and blue legs look good, imo.

Yeah it looks like it's in a cast or something, doesn't it? 😄
It's a nice grill, just not my style. Not trying to be unpatriotic, it just comes off being kind of busy, to many colors going on IMO.
The legs may tone down once you get a little smoke on them. It looks good.

Definitely busy. 😃
I don't really consider it patriotic, the real Old Glory fills that bill for me.
But I do love her colors - just not so many different shades in one place! LOL
Thanks for the response!

They may - but I think they're going to wind up back in the box. Maybe they would look better on a solid grill.
Just for comparison.....These pics from a couple years ago - how the R/W/B legs look on a '75 Statesman. Not sure I liked them on that grill either... legs and triangle moved from this grill to a Gourmet that needed some love. I also used a basic Weber triangle I had that was rust free. I think two red rear legs and the white front leg would look better and more "Bama".

Yes, we did use Ivory for the bowl. #IworkforWeber
If you like the look of the red and blue legs, maybe a can of Rustoleum Ivory spray paint for that stark white leg?

Thanks for the suggestion!
That might work, but i think I'm going to just use the original Weber legs.
It would be cool if Weber releases a Master Touch version like the one on display in the U.K.
Got a quote

think I'll have to just wait and see if they ever turn up over here for sale!

Yes it would.
That looks more...MORE. 😄
And more expensive.

Great minds think alike! This is my still new handle I bought about 10 years ago.
