Title: Searin' In The Rain
Post by: bamakettles on May 05, 2025, 06:06:05 AM
Isn't there a song that goes???  ;)

One of my cooks that pretty much goes on cruise control...  Wild Fork Tri Tip, about 2.25lbs seasoned with Smoking Dad BBQ recipe rub (SPG made with Lawry's) and a sprinkle of Lane's Brisket Rub.  Seasoned, vac sealed using my new chamber sealer and into the Sous Vide at 125 for two hours or so.  Seared over a mix of leftover Jealous Devil briquettes, a few fresh B&B briquettes and a few pecan chunks for a minute per side or less (probably 4 minutes total) depending on the flame.  So good..... Kellee made new potatoes and a green bean concoction with almonds, sun dried tomatoes and garlic cloves.

Cheers!

Wall to wall pinkness with a nice subtle dark crust. Just how I like it! Looks amazing

Beautiful as always, but the green bean side dish steals the show this time!🤩 Yum!
