One of the best. I feel like I'm bragging every time I bring this up but I'm not. It's so unique. It has the vent on top like a green egg. I'm blessed to have this. There's a funny story behind it if anyone cares but this became my spring cooker because the weather has just been bad since winter.

This is an old picture, but includes the two cookers that get the call most often.
JEBIV very generously gifted the 26'er which I shortened, added an SnSXL, and probe grommet from a WSM. I really need to use my vintage grills more often, but this setup is so dang easy! Thanks, JEBIV.
I've shared the WSM+SSP before. Although I added an ATC, I use it predominantly for hanging ribs hot and fast.
Great topic!
Those are fricking cool setups!

Just added a year 2000 (DD on vent) go anywhere to the grill-arsenal. $10 on eBay. Upgraded it w stainless steel grate w handles, added some felt seal tape to lid (amazing what this did in regard to heat retention) and have wooden handles coming in a few days. Cleaned up nice for a used grill... (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20241023/55fbc0ead1fd453cbcbf5f5b434a7f42.jpg)

Is there any benefit in design between the model you have (I have a DT) and the newest version?
I noticed the bottom vents went from round to rectangular, and the handle has a heat shield and can screw off on the newest versions. Also has some sort of drip pan at the bottom, but the WKC GA history thread doesn't say anything about design changes like that

I saw a sale on a new Go Anywhere and got my dad one as a present.
I noticed another change in the European version which we get here in South Africa, is the side handles are gone. And the coal grate is much tighter spaced, but thinner than my older DT version which has the heavy bottom grate guage (mine was an import from the US). The new one's top handle is also easily removable, perhaps to add more compact storage size? And the drip tray seems to prevent you from dropping the coal grate to the bottom
