Title: Late night Ranch chicken thighs.
Post by: Lightning on April 30, 2024, 08:29:38 AM
Last night one of my friends from college came by on the way back from work pretty late.  I grilled up a bunch of chicken thighs on the Ranch and then some asparagus after the chicken was off and resting.   I also baked some chocolate peanut butter cookies earlier in the day.  The pictures are limited because the sky opened up with a pretty heavy rain in the middle of barbecuing last night so I've included what I was able to get.

Firing up the Ranch is always fun.  The friend was joking around about how it was almost too large.  I started joking around in return that yes, maybe it means I should get an inch for the in-between cooks that are too big for a 22 but not large enough for the Ranch.  That prompted some laughs about do I really need another barbecue...

Chicken and cookies look really good..... Always fun to cook with an old friend...

Need another BBQ grill.... need is such a subjective term lol.

Need and Want. Aren't they the same thing when it comes to Webers?

Love grilled chicken thighs. One of my favorite things to make.

I don't have room for a Ranch, but I would love to cook on one at some point in the future . . .

The yardbird looks great.  I'm with you, thighs are the best choice.  Well, maybe wings . . .
