Title: “Bud” Cleaned Up Well
Post by: bamakettles on March 09, 2024, 03:09:52 PM
Cleaned up the kettle and frame last weekend, reassembled today with all stainless steel hardware, 1/2" SS rear axle, cast iron wheels with roller bearings and new front casters.  And yes, it fits on the deck!  Wild Fork tri tip planned for tomorrow on this beauty.  Excited!

Looks really grate Greg!  Tri-tip sounds  like a fun cook! Enjoy the new toy!!

For a minute I thought you were going to turn it into a crib for the new grandbaby!!

Just one? Or did you mean enough tri-tip for the whole neighborhood?😁 J/K
That is beautiful, looks like brand new!

Thanks all!  Just one today @OkieGirl will see how small one looks on this grill.  Last tri tip I cooked was at the beach on a Jumbo Joe.

Looks great! It appears that you got the dent out of the front as well. That red is nice and bright.

Thanks!  Yes, I did some light tapping with a rubber mallet from the inside.  It's not perfect, but I didn't want to work it too much as there's a porcelain pop there on the outside and I wanted to minimize making it larger.  Happy with the result.
