I recently found a vintage SJ at a garage sale.
An older model with wood handle attached to top vent ( believe original )
The color is a speckled black enamel.
Any ideas ?

Post some pictures to include the lid vent. This will help others identify it.

Sounds like an offset handled SJ. Have seen them with a couple different leg styles...
