Our rep let us know about a few new goodies on the way from Weber in the coming months...
1) They will be releasing two portable griddles (14" and 28" I believe) (17" and 22"!) in addition to the two stand alone units that were recently released. Might be a good camping type setup that would definitly have potential IMO.
2) Weber Q3200 will be retired and is being replaced by a new Q2800 model
3) Smokefire is receiving another re-vamp and may not even be called the Smokefire anymore. Apparenltly they are ditching the rear hopper in favor of the more standard side mount option used by most other manufacturers, and the genesis style flavourizer bars are being changed. Personally I think those are two of the strongest features of the Smokefire so I have mixed feelings on this change. Very interested to see what the build quality will be like on the new re-design. I really hope it's not being trimmed down.
4) Weber Summit Gassers - Long overdue for an update! They have been hinting at it for years but apparently its actually close to becoming a reality. Pricepoint is going to be a big shock for many so I really hope they back it up with a heavier build quality than the current genereation. Currently the value is not there for the pricepoint and they are hard to sell when compared to a Napoleon PRO unit or similar. Fingers crossed!
Have a good one!
Six
Thanks for the updates Matt
I've seen the '24 genesis top of the line in person, whole new level. Very cool stuff coming. I miss the smaller traveler in your list.

Portable griddles I'm interested in. Only reason I haven't grabbed a 36" is because my Blackstone works just fine.
Smokefire, I'm nervous about that. Everything about the current design is why it makes head and shoulders better flavor than any pellet on the market I've tasted (the majority of the bigger names). It's just better.
Summit gas, interested. I've been eyeing the current cook center offering, and hope they really knock it out of the park!

I can't wait to see the new Summit's! Hopefully they look closer to the Gen 1/Gen 2 era Summits. I also hope we get more colors other than just Stainless or Black.
Rumor has it the new Summit gassers will also offer a top down sear burner.

So does that make it similar to the rotisserie/broiler burner seen on Hestan Gas Grills? That one is a top mount rotisserie burner model instead of a rear rotisserie burner like the previous Summit models and most Gas grill manufacturers.

That sounds awesome! I hope this means they're beefing up the rotisserie itself too to support larger foods above 20 lbs.

@SixZeroFour ,
Hey Matt, any updates regarding the portable griddles?
Thanks!
@MacEggs Hey Mark,
No new info unfortunately! Our rep really had hinted at the portable griddles but didn't give us much info outside of the sizes. I will try to ask for more details next time he stops in as I'm interested as well. Hope all is well!
Have some more news for you guys on 2024 products including a new 26'r colour! Details to follow later today 8)
A Glen Blue Master-Touch and a Red 26"er would be all out cool!
It's later....
And I need another 26 like I need a hole in the head. Hmmm....solid color or multi-color?

Sorry for the tease fellas, your 10pm is my 7pm!
This latest information comes from the 2024 Sales book for Canada and not the rep. That being said it is possible you could receive a different lineup in the US but would be surprised.
- New Master Touch Version of the 26.75" Kettle - Available in Black and SMOKE!
- Confirmed there are two new portable LP griddles (Very excited to see these) as well as a New Premium Stand Alone Griddle!
- New Q models confirmed, Q2000 and 3000 series will both be discontinued. New models have some cool features (including a roti!) and what appears to be better stand options. The premium stand looks pretty solid and doubles as a side table when there is no grill installed. If you want to use it as a stand you just slide the two tabletop portions to either side and drop the grill into the middle. The design looks great, hope it looks as good in person as it does in an image!
- Both the new premium Q stand AND the portable griddles have built in leveling feet! I'm likely more excited about this than most - but if you camp or cook on an uneven deck this is a great little feature to have built in.
- Summit Gas Grills will NOT be launching a long awaited updated model at least here in Canada. Rumor has it this could still launch in the US this season. No further details on the grill itself but there was an interesting image of a GENESIS unit splashed into the mix with what appeared to be a full digital control on the front with NO control knobs.
- Genesis Gas lineup is being thinned out considerably, which is a good thing! There were too many models the last couple seasons that caused confusion - still have choices of black or SS with or without a side burner.
- Pellet grills have been completely redesigned and renamed. For the life of me I can't remember the new name right now lol but will update tomorrow. Not a fan of the new name, sounds like a Traegar model name... I believe it was "SearWood". Vertical Hopper (aka bye bye pellet slide) is now mounted on the right of the unit like most other pellet grills. Ash collection pan/system looks very interesting and more like a gasser grease pan. Looks pretty cool and should make cleanup easier.
Actually pretty excited to see these changes and updates!
...There is probably more I have forgotten but will keep you posted
Matt
Smoke 26 kettle is really tempting. Thanks for the information!

what's a 6th 26er going to hurt LOL
Thanks for the update Matt!! May have to open my piggy bank. I missed the last Glen Blue cycle.

Oh man.... A 26" Westerner and they'd have my money SO fast.....
Thanks for the updates
@SixZeroFour
I really have a feeling it's only a matter of time before another special run vintage finish comes, like the Glen Blue 26". Maybe a Westerner or something? Would be awesome!
A Smoke 26 isn't something I personally desire, but good to see an option.
Knew about the supposed pellet update/replacement, Searwood is the name I've seen as well but guess we will see. I'm.....not sure how I feel about it. Love Smokefire but concede a reboot may be needed. I'll buy an EX4 before they're gone though, unless the new is just too good.
