Should have known better. The perfect example of "if it seems too good to be true it probably is"
I normally NEVER send a deposit ahead of time but got burned for $50 today by some piece of trash. On a Summit Charcoal of all things... thankfully I figured it out before driving over an hour each way to the so called pickup address.
Lesson learned.
Stay vigilant with your hard earned money folks and hope your Saturday was better than mine!

Boo.... So sorry about that. I've taken a couple of chances before and avoided a couple of too good to be true deals. Sad that there are people like that in this world.

Sucks. I saved my wife from one recently. Seller if a sectional couch only wanted $250 for gently used and offered to deliver. Wanted a deposit, which is now my red flag. Told the thief we'd only pay cash.....crickets. Profile gone.
Why can't people earn an honest living?

That stinks man, glad you figured it out and controlled your loses. There is one of those to good to be true in Phoenix AZ, it is a slightly used EX 6 Smoke Fire for 89.00. Yeah right slightly used when y]they stole it out of some dudes backyard or garage.
Yes a 1000% savings on a pretty clean unit is alittle tuff to swallow. But I would love to own one.
