Title: Getting new bowl - any ideas for old one?
Post by: DaGoomba on November 01, 2021, 04:22:32 PM
Getting new bowl from Weber for my red limited 22". Any ideas what to do with old one? Its not even a week old and besides chipped porcelain on one edge (1" to 1 1/2") but not too bad.

Was thinking of using it for santa maria style grill or maybe piecing together another kettle.

Any ideas others have done?

How much modding do you want to do? I think it would be cool to put a ash can and short wsm-style legs on it for hybrid open flame/top cooking and firepit use. I'm thinking rotisserie, smores, and  santa maria type cooks.

Exactly what I would like to do. I assume you can buy the wsm style legs and ash can from Weber? I was trying to think of legs for it and that is a good idea... I'm new to modding so this is helpful!
