Title: AH Code Q2200
Post by: bamakettles on May 05, 2021, 03:19:33 PM
Not a collectible, but something fun to tinker with and fix up for less than a couple of bags of B&B briquettes.  I thought it was the little one in the ad, but this is the larger one that I don't have.  Plus it's RED!

Congrats Greg! I don't know much about Q's, but it looks cool and it's Red.
Your doing to need a bigger deck!

Cheers

I also have a red Q2200, which I purchased ~ 5 to 6 years ago in Bartlet, Illinois. Great little grill! It's my understanding the red Q2200's where made exclusively for ACE Hardware.

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

Thanks Robert, it is larger than I thought and yeah, I'll have to find a place for it.  More than likely will be in my storage building for easy access.  Itching to clean it up and try it out!

Thanks for that.....I looked around and could not find any evidence of the Q2200s in different colors.  Maybe it's a little more rare than I originally thought.  Should be nice for quick cooks.

Here my Q2200...Weber did release this John Deere green top and bottom Q.  Currently it's being used at my MILs' as her quik outdoor cooker. Great little cooker. Awesome score on the redhead

Very nice John Deere model!  I like that cart too.  I've been eyeing those and almost bought one before I found my last acquisition- yet to be shared in the forum.  We'll just say I'll feel like a Gourmet cooking on it.
