Title: St. Patricks Day
Post by: Scott Zee on March 18, 2021, 05:13:50 PM
Did a traditional "American" St.Patricks dinner last night.  Pics tell most of the story except how grate everything tasted. Lady DI gets the call partnered with the orig SnS+. I'm looking for *300 cook temp. Started with a bed of baby carrots and sliced onions in a SS pan. Slice some red taters and place around the edge of pan. 4.5 lb brisket on the Weber for about 30-45 minutes to give it some color. Then place brisket in center of pan with cabbage wedges all around. I did add about a cup of water at this point and Covered tightly with HDfoil. I probed about 2.5 hours in, 175*, covered up for another 45 minutes. Pulled off grill at 197*. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted grate. As well as my bev of choice. Sláinte.   Scott

Looks great.  We usually boil the corned beef. I'll have to give this a try.
