Post by: thomaselias on March 17, 2021, 12:20:19 PM
Hello. I need to buy a smoker. And I need your recommendations about smokers (https://bestoffsetsmoker.net/best-vertical-offset-smoker/). can anyone suggest to me the best smoker for a long time at cheap rates?

This is a Weber enthusiasts / collectors forum so a lot of us smoke on Weber products but there are lots of great smokers. It just depends on what you want to do.

You can't beat smoking meat on a simple 22" kettle. Lasts forever and is very inexpensive.

Not really ;D
you have some conflicting parameters.
Cheap, buy nothing smoke with slow coals & wood. offset the product being cooked.
Long lasting & good (but a tad spendy$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
Cajun Bandit makes an excellent smoker that a decent deal when you do all the pros & cons.

If talking strictly smokers, I'd endorse the Weber Smokey Mountain cooker.

2nd the Smokey Mountain...if we're talking "smokers"

However, the Weber 22 can do it all,  if you want to cook hot (grilling) and do some lower temp smoking

Smokey mountain all the way. But if you already have a 22" kettle and want to save money than smoke on that.

I've had my 18" wsm for a few years now and absolutely love it.

Again if it's strictly a smoker the wsm can do it all. But as also stated, the kettle can smoke too!
