As we search for all our kettles and add them to our collection, what do you use to pick them up? I use either my 69 bug or my63 Dodge project (Arthur).

Its a blast to drive. Slant 6 and 3 on the tree. being a younger guy (38) most in my age bracket dont know how to drive it. Arthur (I call the truck that) definitely has a learning curve.
I got to sit in the 63. It reminded me of learning how to drive stick in my sisters 66 Cal bug

I'd take the 63 any time!
Then again, Seeing a Mothership on top of the bug would be awesome!

We can make that happen. The roof rack on the 69 can hold the weight
@22ket~tle 100% true
@1spacemanspiff I remember that! I had a blast meeting you and talking about the 69. If you are ever back in this neck of the woods let me know.

OK, but it has to be right side up with legs on. Not upside down.
Yes! The most aerodynamic way possible

I'd drive that WW 63 Dodge.... sweet old sled
My stepdad taught me how to drive a three on the tree in a mid 70s Ford econoline van. I took my driving test in a 75 Chevy Nova, that had been converted to a four speed manual.
Current kettle hauler is a Ford F-150 5.0 with automatic trans and cold A/C.
This is starting to sound like an interesting thread in it's own right. I'll start it.
My 2007 Yukon Denali XL has brought home many kettles.... didn't get pics of them all, but it's a great Weber hauler.

Thats a solid weber transporter. I like it.
A 2001 Dodge Dakota pick up was my kettle ride until the transmission went out. The cost to repair the transmission was more than the value of the truck.

A 2017 Honda Ridgeline truck took it's place.

Both of these photos were kettle loads going to WKC West Coast Picnics. Really miss these get togethers due to the Pandemic.

The best part of the Ridgeline is there is a built-in cooler to store all the beer and meat in the bed.

Impressive !
Keeping with the Ranch theme, here's my kettle sled landing a Mothership last year. The cargo space in the 4Runner can easily fit an upright performer, but the real workhorse kettle carrier is the roof top box. Don't let the diminutive size fool you, I can fit a 22" and 2-18"s up there and I don't have to hear the cacophony of metal rattling all the way to my destination.
