Title: WSM 18
Post by: jacko1962 on December 31, 2020, 06:26:57 AM
Is the WSM 18 base the same size as a 18 kettle? Not Jumbo Joe. Thanks.

Is the inside of the bowl the same size? Would the middle of a WSM fit tight on a kettle base?

I do believe the wsm mid section will fit on the kettle base nicely.  Seen it done on 22s.

I have a midget 18 that I want to make into a DIY smoker like they have done with the JJ's.

@Red_5_Wrangler What did you use for the middle? I like the SS pots.

It's a wsm on a standard bowl almost... it's a platinum but the same as a standard 18 bowl.

Tamale pot worked grate on my Smokey joe tho.
