Heard a lot of chatter on the news and social media today about the "big waves" on the California Coastline. These photos were taken today by the National Weather Service. They look like a scene out of a disaster movie. I have stood at this exact location taking pictures of the surf and have never seen anything even close to this. Just amazing. The house in the left of these photos is the iconic Clinton Walker House in Carmel, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
