Well I wanted to grill some wings with a version of the sauce my daughter's boyfriend turned me onto. He just grilled the wings, tossed and sauced, and back on the grill for some char on the sauce.
But my good wife suggested that I do em like buffalo wings. She wanted crusty wings with the sauce...
OK dear. That means frying the wings.......Uh huh...But I still need to burn some charcoal.....Sooo.....
Sauced about half the wings and served them with some black beans.
A few pics.

And that was that.
Good times and good food.
Nice looking wings, spot on!
I'll have to try frying on a grill, never gave it much thought.
Cheers
Love frying on the grill. It's been awhile. Those look fantastic.

Good idea! Hadn't thought of frying on the kettle.
So what's the version of the sauce? Any recipe to share?

I fry up protein on the kettle quite often. I can fry really hot to make a great crust and finish indirect to drain and achieve finish temp. All without messing up the wife's stove top.........

The sauce was simply Tiger Sauce mixed with melted butter. Kinda sweet, kinda spicy, and plenty tasty.
