Did 2 racks of baby backs tonight with my first attempt at a honey BBQ sauce.
Also did smoked baked beans based on HeyGrillHey and some corn bread and chili lime shrimp.
Wrapped at 165° after about 2 hrs. Wrapped with butter, brown sugar, honey, rub, apple juice for 1.5 hrs until IT of 205°. The glazed with sauce for about 30 min.
All and all everything turned out well. I want to try St. Louis cut spare ribs next.
Forgot to grab a picture of the finished cast iron beans.
Nice those look delicious

Oh man, now that's dinner! Ribs look perfect--I like what your wrapped them with. I usually just spritz some apple juice or beer on mine. Gotta step up my game.
How'd you make the honey barbecue sauce?
Looks great!

Hmm. I could see the beer being a good one to add in the foil. I may have to try that
The sauce was:
1 cup ketchup
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Bring to boil and then simmer for 15 minutes and cool. Turned out pretty well. I may do a bit of red pepper flakes next time to go for a Sweet Heat sort of sauce.
