I would like to know what material (and diamter if possible) the blower hose is. It looks like 1" black flexible PLASTIC. Can that be right?

It holds up very well surprisingly! I have used mine over 30 times. with the bowl connector and the tube never even gets hot.
Thanks bob for the shots of the flexible rubber. It was just what I needed.
