Ok guys, here's the story behind this. I'm cruising Craigslist a couple days ago and see this ad for a bunch of New Performer parts for FREE! Seems he is building an outdoor grilling center and only used the Kettle, Lid, Gas assist, and charcoal bin from a new Performer. I get in contact and picked up the next day. Turns out I picked up a bunch of unused 2018 parts. As luck would have it I recently got a Period correct lid and bowl from another member(New). So I went out today and picked up a 2018 OTG donor kettle for $60. Harvested the handle, thermometer, ash catcher. Now my problem parts are the control panel door and the Charcoal Bin. I also need the knob for the gas valve. Any ideas where I can source these parts?
I have bought from e replacement parts or check with Weber.
I doubt you would want to ship it, but if you ever make it a state north I have a charbin for ya. The control door might be hard unless you go ereplacement as mentioned. I have used the pegs that hold a propane tank on a gasser as a gas knob when one got stripped out. It just needed tapped on.
