Starting a new thread because I don't know if people will see my replies to the Chicago Meetup cancellation.
I'm offering to host for the meet up at my home in Plainfield, IN, which is just west of Indy. After 04July, Indiana is in the final phase of re-opening and there's no restrictions on large groups other than social distancing is to be in place. I large yard with plenty of shade and patio space. If so inclined, we have many reasonable hotels nearby. It's a 3 hour trip from Chicago to Indy. I'm always looking for an excuse to make BBQ. Would be even more fun to share.

I completely understand if folks are hesitant.
Indiana has seen consistent decline in cases and all other leading indicators of the pandemic. Public events are being held here and I just know people are looking for diversion. Placed in this context, that's why I felt comfortable in offering.
