Hi guys, new guy here. Don't know much about this stuff (car guy) but a buddy pointed me here. I have a '69 or '70 (I think)Avocado kettle, it was my dads and he was taking it to the scrapyard, he hasn't used it in 20 or more years, been sitting in his shed. I was going to see if a buddy of mine wanted it, so I saved it. I've attached some pics, what ya'll think it is worth? It has the Pat Pending on the top vent.
They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay. That's the honest truth when it comes to Kettles.
With the bowl crazing and the chips in the lid I'd be comfortable paying up to $200 for it. If you want to box it up and ship it to Columbus let me know.

That is a beautiful specimen! Glad it was saved from being scrapped.

Good looking Caribbean you got there. I would never sell my Dad's grill specially one like this. Restore it throw in a new grate and cook on it. Drink a beer and relax while the Cado is working.
2nd in line iff you sell it!
