A while back I was talking to a friend who goes garage sale-ing every weekend looking for bikes and bike parts. His garage contains 40-50 wheels and 20-30 bikes at any one time. Sound similar to some us.
Anyway, I asked him to let me know if he finds any non-black Weber Kettles. He calls me today and said he bought a green kettle for $15.00 and it has that Ash can thing on the bottom.
So I picked it up from him today. It is a Green 2003 (DT) OTG with a hinged grate. The handle was bent a little and you could tell it had been dropped on the handle. I set the lid in a 5 gallon pait bucket tapped it with a hamer from the inside to pop the handle out and also tapped it from the side. Here's a few shots of my first Green kettle before cleaning and the handle work.

Here's a shot after a little cleaning and tapping with the hammer. Also, came with the "free" tool rack. :D
