Interesting morning... Woke up at 6:am to rain coming down hard and a pork shoulder ready to go on the grill. Wife said "see the weather today?, It's going to rain most of the day." SO?! I have a pork shoulder thawed I'm grilling it.
I go and get the grill started and it decided to hail down on top of me. That went on for 20 minutes or so. I used 1 full chimney and cherry wood for smoke.
It's 8:45 now pork has been on for 20 min at 300 degree grill temp I'll get it down to about 275 and let it sit. I'll take it off at around 197 internal temperature. Going to freeze some make pulled pork pizza and wife is going to make Pozole soup that we can freeze also.

WTH?! Now that's a sweet set up! I'm envious, especially for the Pozole soup...looks good!

I also marinated some skirt steak overnight with beer, Sazon Goya, Adobe Goya, lime, Second City The Rub, garlic, and onion. Tossed that on for some lunch/snack for the cook.

. Nice smoke, I used Cherry wood as I was out of apple. The taste is spot on it's perfect on bread and I can't wait for the soup.
