Title: Interesting UDS Lid
Post by: Dave in KC on February 24, 2020, 04:27:28 PM
I have seen plenty of UDS using Weber lids , but this is a first.

A 22" Jumbo Joe bottom modified as a lid .....  ???

That's pretty cool. I like the use of the lever for the intake vent too.

That's pretty sweet. Looks way better that using a full kettle bowl. The downside to using a bowl is that the OD is roughly the same size as the lip of the drum. So you need to rig up another flange or whatever to get a good seal.

So stealing that.
I've got a UDS in the plans for this spring.
Next Jumbo that pops up will be mine. HAHAHA.
