Didn't want to break the bank but needed a good cooker for Gpas house. He is a huge bears fan so naturally I went with that theme and brought it in for the price of the decals and SS hooks; the rest of it was in the parts heap. Delivering today 1st cook will probably be next week.

Awesome creativity !!
Pretty cool. I like the lid!
Gawd DAMN that is killer! I might sound like a total dumb-ass here, but did you make a custom lid for this? I've never any of those parts before - looks awesome!
STOK LID! I had to search for it, but I found them...... cool!

Yep stok lid that's why the Weber emblem doesn't quite fit right. Their lids are nice porcelain but they are just a bit smaller than weber's and they don't fit a Weber bowl. I looked at mounting the stok bowl but it's painted steel not porcelain so that was a hard pass. I flared the lid lip with relief cuts then encouraged the lid to fit a cashed bowl I had laying around with a mini sledge rubber malet. Then cleaned it up well and trimmed the bottom with caliper paint.

Bamakettles got it right. They also have a lid ledge hook so it saved me from buying a lid bale. I just filled the holes with SS hardware.
