Title: how to fix the lid that wont seat correctly
Post by: wildeagle on January 30, 2020, 04:45:59 PM
I have a lid that doesn't quite fit without some manipulating . sure this is known here, but now its making my lid handle start to feel weak or loose . is there a proper way or technique i should do to try and fix this? was thinking the taco handle fix for the strengthening of it. making the lid properly fit??

Pictures might help but it sounds like your lid or possibly the bowl is out of round.

For the lid a bear hug usually does the trick.
For the bowl, I lay it down on a hunk of scrap carpet
and gently apply weight with my hands and keep testing the fit.

+1 on a hug for the lid.   If that doesn't work 100%, using some binders clips will help with maintaining temps for low and slows.
