My apologies if this is the wrong area, but I wasn't sure where else to post this. I'm looking for cool ideas to transport accessories, tools, spices, etc. back and forth between my backyard 22" Performer and my 22" OTG that lives 4 hours away at our vacation home. Anybody have photos of their portable "toolboxes"?
Thanks a million,
AO

I just use a $5 shower caddy. It's no nice box or briefcase but it keeps everything standing up and has room for oil bottle and hot sauce bottles plus some spices.

I would literally get a toolbox. I never thought about using an actual took box for grilling supplies before, but since you said it, it makes total sense to me.
The times I've transported things like that, I've just used a cardboard box.
I seen these at ACE hardware the other day. Look pretty nice.

If you want to get creative you could convert a cheap portable go anywhere or smokey joe with a handle into a storage case. I personally think it would look a lot cooler than a regular tool box and people are always selling them cheap online.
Yes, Red_5_Wrangler! That's practically perfect in every way! I don't like using my gallon freezer bags and with that caddy, everything can go right where you need it.
I'll post a photo if I come up with a good "toolbox" idea.

That's pretty clean and look, it holds at least two bottles of beer!

Great idea and it'd already be properly branded with the Weber logo!

Right?! I was thinking somebody might've already converted a toolbox or tackle box into the perfect spice rack, sauce bottle, and small but essential bbq tool carrier, like thermometers and stuff. I've been using gallon size freezer bags, but I want something better.

I will admit that it isn't a totally original idea of mine. It was inspired by a guy on youtube who used this huge gas grill in his grill area as a huge storage cabinet for rubs, spices, and oils. It would probably work better with a go anywhere as it is more rectangular.
This is mine...

Now that's what I'm talkin' about, Shoestringshop! My SNS may even fit in one like that.
Thanks
@Annie Oakley I really got tired of looking for my tools when I do a Weber demo on weekends. I was designing a wooden one that I could use but only completed 1 section and it weighed as much as all 4 of this tool box I bought at Home Depot. I know most won't need anything this big but I really love it this is my travel kit and is all my duplicates. This kit has all the following...
First case holds...
Knives, knife sharpener, Weber Thermometers, iGrill, tape measure, toothpicks, Weber cookie cutter, Tongs, spatula, small spatula, brush, bottle opener, and can opener.
Second case holds... (The kit did not come with this section)
Cooking spray for pans, EVOO, and seasoning
Third case holds...
Two rolls of paper towels, Weber towels, two aprons, Weber gloves, and cutting boards.
Fourth and final case holds...
Weber tins (Small & Large), bleach water spray bottle (Needs to be made the day of), Clean water bottle, hand sanitizer, serving trays, paper plates, and if need be more flexible cutting boards.
This is so much better then what I've been doing all these years! Saves me time and keeps all my stuff together no more hunting down my demo kit. And after demo season all I need to do is take out the seasoning and wheel it into storage.
This is it with part numbers

For most the $29 one would most stuff we travel with.
If I traveled a lot I would do a set up like Shoestring. Its just really organized and would be easy to strap down in a truck or in the back of a SUV. I was thinking it when the question was asked here, but my thinking was about on level 1 to his level 50 lol.
Last week, I ran into an expandable poster tube (artist tube) at a garage sale. At first, I thought it was for fishing poles, but then realized what it was for. They said $2, so I told myself I'll throw my barbecue tools in it to keep them clean underneath the gill cover & be able to use it to transport the tools elsewhere. Since it expands, I figured I can throw rubs, spices, whatever, in it too. I'll probably try it out this week to see how things fit & will report back. It looks like it should easily fit a standard bbq spatula, but probably not that extra wide one that Weber has.
Thought some here might find it interesting, especially if you score one cheap while hunting for other things.
Amazon has them for $19.99, but you have to combine with something else to get free shipping.
I will keep my eyes peeled for a 2 dollar one for sure!
In case you have one near you, I also noticed they were $16 at Michaels & $9.99 (maybe on sale or something) at Hobby Lobby.
I LOVE garage sales. Got a SJ at one for $1.
