is there a niche collective that's all about roasting coffee beans on their Weber?
I roast in a converted bread machine, but there are some members into that... not sure if they use their Weber's. But is been done with a rotisserie spit.

a converted bread machine? do you have any links to guides or anything that helped you do this?
I've thought about this!
I know
@swamprb is a coffee roasting guru.
He sent me beans roasted on his genesis and they were PHENOMENAL
I roast on a Weber 1000 gasser with a 4lb RK Drum and 50rpm motor.
Most grill rotisserie motors are @3rpm. Too slow for batch roasting.
Using a kettle would be a challenge as it would be hard to regulate the temps quickly as with a gasser.

that RK gear is very cool. expensive...but then the minimum size is twice what a Behmor can do.
do you roast n sell on the side swamp?
I just roast for personal use.
The thing about roasting on a kettle over charcoal would be a hassle to regulate the heat/temp.
With a gasser it's easy to adjust
