Title: Where to buy (parts) in Canada?
Post by: sunsanvil on June 11, 2013, 03:43:28 AM
Whats a good source for parts/pieces in Canada?  The only place that has anything Weber locally is Home Depot and its sparse at best.  Their site offers more but shipping is RIDICULOUS.

Immediate need is a charcoal basket set and lighter cubes...

Not sure where you're located. I can find parts at TA Appliances.
Don't know how many franchises there are around. I have one just a few minutes away from me.

The prices there are not the greatest, but, saves driving to the border .... and, waiting in line.

I plan on fabricating some baskets out of expanded metal. Will try to post with lots of pics.

As far as the lighter cubes. I have never used them. I have a Weber chimney starter - best one out there.
Roll up some newspaper, and make a donut of sorts. Light it up!

I used to use that method. Now I use my weed burner to light charcoal. Works awesome!

I plan on fashioning some sort of charcoal basket out of EM also, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I would be interested on how you do yours.
