I'm still processing how this all happened! I don't usually check Craigslist et al. on the weekends but I happened to do so late Saturday. I see this avocado listed. Not only that but it comes with a shish kabob ring! It was over an hour away and I didn't know if I could get away for 2 hours while leave my wife with two kids, one of which is only a few weeks old. Still I messaged the seller. It had been listed for over 6 hours so I had low hopes. In the mean time I contacted a few folks to see if they could agent.
The next morning I hear back and I was actually the first to contact the seller! We try to work out a time while I wait to her back from prospect agents. Then he says someone else is interested in buying the kettle a d wanted to know if I was serious about buying it. Of course I was! I kindly ask my wife and she said I could go get it! I confirm a time and location with the seller and I am on my way!
We meet up and the seller is a real nice guy. He said he got it at a garage sale 15 years ago but he has no idea how old it is. He said the shish kabob ring was his parents! I quickly look over the kettle. Bottom vents are stuck and there is a little bit of rust at the leg welds but overall it is on great condition! There are also only 5 of 6 skewers and only 1 has a handle and the ring is slightly out of round. I paid him then quickly make my way back home.
Life has been so crazy that it is still in the trunk of my car haha! And I have been delaying posting about it because I wanted to clean it up first but I don't know when that will happen so here we are. The first picture is right after pick up in the parking lot. The second is from the listing.
I did check the vent and it is patent pending and I think the wheels are metal so I guess that makes it 69-72? When was the shish kabob ring in production?

Thanks everyone! Well, I finally had the time to do a minor cleaning. Just razor scraped it on the inside. The bottom vents are stuck but it looks like it might be from rust and not simply grease. Any thoughts on how to get these free?

Looking good man! An overnight soak with a little pb blaster will help the bottom vents free. Take a block of wood against the tab and gently tap the block with a hammer and it will do the trick.

Finally got it cleaned up. Well to be fair, @mike.stavlund cleaned it for me 
The vents were freed using a degreaser and light tapping. Now they spin like a top!
