Title: Have An Ice Day
Post by: bluewhisper on November 17, 2018, 09:55:45 PM
This was in central Ohio on 11/15/18.  We got freezing rain overnight and into the morning, and I had no hope of driving the glazed van so I walked in to work at 6:00, approximately a mile, holding a big umbrella in a pelting rain that froze on to the umbrella.

Oh wait  this is a grill board. When I went back home on my lunch break I looked around outside and saw the 22 coated in ice, still on its long legs. I thought it looked really funny.

Seriously though, it does show how the basic kettle design can shrug off bad weather. Yes the top vent was closed.

It has since thawed and it's back on its original legs and under a roof.
