It's time for the annual WKC Secret Santa - a fun way to to get to know more members and end the year with some holiday cheer. Secret Santa is pretty simple, we'll blindly exchange names/addresses and do a little gift swap by mail. It's fun to get a surprise gift and even more fun to give something to your fellow WKCers.

General Rules:

- $20 minimum suggested value. No maximum limit. Give from the heart, but don't tap your retirement fund. Make it personal. Keep it simple.
- Sign up deadline: Sunday, November 18th. 8pm EST. (This will allow time to match you up with another member and for you to take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday)
- Ship via trackable shipping method in time to arrive before Christmas. Shop early. Ship Early. A second survey will collect this information. (See below)
- Members in the US and Canada will be matched up as a group. All other countries are welcome to join in, and I will make every effort to match you up with another member in your country. I can't guarantee that will work, so don't be a grinch and blame me. I'll do my best to work it out.
- WKC is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
- Don't ship anything illegal, regardless what your member match is begging for.
- Once you sign up and complete the survey, you're in. No backing out at the last minute. Let me know via PM if you need to back out prior to Nov 18th. Non-shipment and non-communication after that will be a bannable offense.

Yes, both are IN.

Everyone that’s IN is IN. We ended up with 42 in total. The member-match-up randomizer is chugging along as we speak. You will all be sent the contact info and other details for your Secret Santa gift recipient within 24 hours via PM. There will also be a link to provide tracking info for whatever you send. Plan for gifts to arrive on or before Christmas day, December 25th. If you choose, you can share photos of your gifts with the club using the link provided at the top of this post.

Have fun, shop early, ship early, and let the thin blue spirit of the season drift over the WKC community throughout the holidays!

Fun to see all the tracking proof roll in. And FYI, a couple of you have reached out to see if a mystery package they received was part of Secret Santa or another kind of mystery. No problem for me to check that, so PM me if you are stumped. I won't let you know who your Santa is, but I can tell you who it's not! So far I have about a quarter of the "IN's" accounted for. Only three weeks to go, so get on it WKC! And don't forget the reveal thread when your stuff shows up - we all want to see it!

I did a little investigation when one of our Secret Santas was getting an "undeliverable" notice for his member match gift. Google Maps street view seems to verify that a grillfella indeed lives here. Look closely...

I have about half of the Secret Santas' tracking info at this point. Good job Santas! For the remaining Santas, you still have plenty of time. The reveal thread is active and starting to ramp up. Keep it up!

For those Secret Santas who have not provided tracking info yet, (12 at last count this morning) let me know if there are any hangups that you're dealing with so I can let your member match know what's up. At this point pre-Christmas delivery might be a long shot, and I get how busy we all are, but give me a head's up if you need assistance in any way and I'll do what I can to help.
