Upside down L code

Is there a reason it would be upside down. That just don't seem like Weber would do that. Sorry if I sound so new, but I just started getting into older kettles
Some of the date codes on older kettles are crooked or upside down. Mistakes during manufacturing which now make them fun to find. Buy it and enjoy it.

That is clearly an L date code.
