Had a blast at the northeast meetup, this is what the return trip home looked like. Big thanks to @56mpg and @peaspurple for the help loading. A little shorter trip than last year only 2586 miles

Helluva haul. That truck definitely won't be big enough for the Chicago trip.

Not even close, full size cargo van already reserved. Also got a credit line increase on my gas card LOL
I will chip in on gas, Joe. You're doing us FL guys a huge favor.

Glad you got home safe and sound. Nice meeting you and your wife too. Loading that mint red-mist Performer was bitter sweet - my collection is dangerously low now - but I have a feeling you will be enjoying it for a long time. Only question is: where in the house is it going be displayed? After all, in it's entire life it's been outdoors for maybe a few hours - and never in the rain, and most of that time covered. Have fun in Chicago!
Any luck on retrieving the Simpsons Kettle, Joe?
Charlie will chip in for Gas and I will for Bourbon (Gas for Joe ), when we meet in FL.
Thank you for helping the lazy Floridians.
Holy cow! @56MPG, you gave up that unused red ssp!?

It was time. At best we are stewards of these fine grilling instruments. I was lucky enough to live with it for a while. Looked at it every day. Enjoyed every perv. Joe was next in line. He could probably triple his money overnight on eBay, and good on him if he does. I'll settle for Karma.
Besides, Mod Month is coming up, and I have a project in mind that may involve an SSP. The risk was too high I might hack it up in some unforgivable way.

You always have the best road trips Joe. Can't wait to see what you've come back with. If you've got any extra room in that rental I may need to start looking around ;) You know you could fab up a second level out of some plywood and 2x4's for that van and double your capacity!
