I've got a new charcoal go anywhere and I've used it a few times, but I find that when the charcoal is hot, the vents are damn near impossible to adjust. I think the heat expands the metal to a point where the vents are pretty much stuck. I've had to use pliers and some pretty strong force to just get them to move. Any suggestions? I don't want to fight with this every time I use it.
Thanks.

RemoGaggi First thing I'd try is cleaning between the vent & lid by spraying water on the vent while simultaneously working the vent open & closed. A de-greaser like simple green or dawn soap might help loosen any muck in there. Additionally you can put knobs on the vents too.
