It's been quite some time since anything decent has shown up locally (NE Iowa). Pretty excited about this one. At first I thought maybe it wasn't the original lid because of the larger tab on the damper. But then I found that these were made through '79 and the lid is an A code (1979). The lid and handle are actually in really good shape. It's a two rivet wood handle that I think will restore nicely. The bottom vents are pretty bent up so I may need to drill out the rivers and either bend then back or replace them. Needs a little bit of cleaning / dusting but not too much. IMHO, a pretty good score overall.

Are there any heat issues with the Sequoia like with the home built tables?
Would love to build one with updated SS hardware and a butcher block top.
