So yesterday, after 6 months of patience, my 6th SSP color arrived.
This was picked up at an estate sale last year in Chicago by @Shoestringshop
He went above and beyond for me in many ways on this. I only hope for us to be all as he is.
he threw in some extra goodies for me as well. Much appreciated Dan.
It's an elusive Grey. O code. I had a frame so just needed the bowl with hose and regulator.
So I unbox it and gave it an initial cleaning which proves very promising. Couldn't wait to get her in the frame. This is how far I got yesterday

SO this AM I get a text from @DrewZ at 5:50 AM with a link. BIG THANKS Brother.
I open it up and nearly fall out of bed. I get up, make coffee, and go to my laptop to look again.
Been up for about 8 hours. When I look at the address provided in the ad, I Google it. It's 1.6 miles from my brother in-laws house. It's 6:30 AM and I can't call the seller or my brother. I waited until 9 AM to call seller. We talk and I call my brother and he says 4 oclock. Not much I can do but deal with that. I let seller know and he says he'll be home after 1. My brother calls at 2:30 saying he can go now. Text seller and said he went out again but will be at home at 4 as planned. At 3:50 my brother texts he's leaving. 4:15 he calls to tell me he has it. Only picture for now, sorry.

What are the chances? In 24 hours I go from 0 to 2 Greys.
This puts me one grill from completing my first started Collection.
All SSP colors to include 22, 18, and SJ.
Black,Green,Red, Blue and Plum are complete.Black, Green and Red to include Outrider 18s.
Plum only consists of SSP 22 and 18. Don't know of any Plum SJs.
I'm to undertand there are no 18 Greys. @Craig?
If so, I just need a Grey 22. Who's got it? :)

That grey SSP lid/bowl set looks to be in phenomenal shape! Congrats, Colin... on both greys! Rare ones, for sure.

@CatskillSmoker I used PB Blaster spray on it everyday for about 2 weeks. Sorry it took forever to get it to you. Enjoy the gifts!
