Title: 26er Roll-Away wheel mod
Post by: Hell Fire Grill on July 04, 2018, 12:54:05 PM
This is set up temporarily while I work on some other mods.

The rear wheels came off a jogging stroller and the front one is from a kick scooter.

The rear wheels are held on with cable clamps for now. A couple other ideas for attaching them are in the hat too.

On front is the scooter wheel. I cut the steering tube so its about 1 1/2" long. Its a slip fit but its really tight, it'll probly get screwed on after the project is done.

Screwed the legs on for stability.

It sits about 3" higher than it did with the bowl rim ~35" high.

More later...I gotta go catch the damn thing, the winds blowing it down the driveway
