We're going to get down and get funky at my crib in Gloucester MA Saturday July 28th. @JEBIV is going to be up from the ATL and we're pretty much planning around him because he's the man.

Gloucester is a great town. Lots to do especially in the summer. Will be planning a cigar/rum Schooner sail for probably Friday night. BBQ and meet up at my house Saturday. There may or may not be lobster involved

Sounds like a blast!  I've saved the date.  Just FYI....I am SCUBA certified if you need some help with those lobsters! :-)

Bring some food to share and/or some toys to show off. Leave extra room in the belt loops for food and in your trunk for a kettle or 6.  ;D

This, and we'll firm up the rest as we get closer.  My local Weber Alliance dealer is really well stocked so I may ask him to get involved in one way, The Schooner sail will be great and we'll drink some whiskey, smoke some cigars, eat some lobster and smoke up a storm. 

I've met some great members like Will, Al,@603kettle, one of my closest friends is a kettlehead and he's local to Gloucester, I'm hoping @order66 comes out, to meet Colin, @jkolantrn @ericD and all the guys up here.  And of course I'll get to hang with my buddy @jebiv . Hoping we get some long distance people out here.  There have been a lot of people on here that it would be great to knock back a scotch with

I checked the work calendar and I unfortunately have something I am glued to the computer the entire day on the 28th... ugh what sucks is that we were looking at weekends to pass through the area and had I not been tied up I could have easily made this work! Oh well, another time..

I think my wife might be trying to get out of this.....likes the rewards of my cook, but that's about the extent of her BBQ excitement! lol.  So, I'm thinkin' if I can make it Friday, just camp in the back of the truck.

Sorry guys I'm out of this one.  My dad (and sister) decided to throw my mom a birthday party on the 28th without checking dates with my brother or I.
I'm bummed I gotta miss this but nothing I can do.   Hope you guys have as much fun as it looks like it's gonna be!  I'll join you all on a toast in spirit though!

I'll be there.   I'm looking for brownie, avocado, baby blue,  weber fireplace, or any 26er.  I have weber charcoal q, H code red 22, several genesis jr parts plus cash.

I might be willing to part with my red ssp, late 60's red 18 or newer ranch for the right trade but I doubt it.

Sounds like a blast but I wont be able to make it that weekend......have an engagement for the wife's family my wife and girls are in the wedding party so no chance of skipping out on this one.

Hi, at what time does the event start and end on Saturday?  Normally, Gloucester would be a 60+mile trek for us, but we'd just happen to be around the area Saturday afternoon.  Also, do you want guests to bring anything?

I think if you have any kettles you'd like to show off or cook on.  Maybe bring some food you feel other's would enjoy the way you made it. 

I plan on coming down for a visit - Meet and greet.

I'm allergic to shellfish so I can't eat the lobster.

I've got some 2'x2' lights for Catskillsmoker's Barn.

Met Craig over the weekend and were talking about the meetup. I can not get away for the event due to construction. I will be keeping an eye on Craigs new channel for the video.

My buddy Craig who is a Kettle fanatic will be hosting the BBQ part on Saturday,  He has built what he calls the BBQ stadium.  I'll be bringing lobsters.  He will be filming.  Craig does commercial work for Stihl also Foster's Grill Store, our local alliance dealer which is worth a visit while you're in town.  He also shot and edited acclaimed fishing show Monster Fish.  the video he ends up producing from the weekend should be great.


For those coming Friday for the Bourbon/cigar sail you can drop off your grills at Craig's any time in the afternoon.  He's creating a flyer with directions.

I just want to let you all know it was really nice getting to know you all over the past years.

Last night we went on the Bourbon Cigar Sail and had a blast, after which we went for Roast Beef Three Ways (sauce cheese mayo) It's a Boston thing. If you come here people say we're famous for baked beans but that's a bunch of bullshit. It's roast beef sandwiches.

After that and already well on our way being hammered we went to the crow's nest where we did pancake shots, got more hammered and saw Mookie Betts hit a walk off homer while we took over the bar.

Epic night.  Truth being told I'm a little scared about what today will bring. My liver is screaming for mercy.
