Admittedly I might be a bit too picky when it comes to red heads. I've passed a couple up over the years. But I saw one on eBay a couple of weeks ago with a make an offer option and decided to take a risk. After a little back and forth, we struck a deal. Then on to the waiting to see if it was in as good a shape as it appeared. The seller actually didn't ship out for a week because he was having trouble finding suitable packaging. To sum it up, the seller did an excellent job packaging and the grill was in beautiful shape. After a quick cleaning, primarily just dust, it looks great. The legs and triangle could use a little work, but I'll get to those. It's an L Code One Touch Plus. It doesn't look like it's been used very much and the ash sweep works beautifully. I will enjoy cooking on this beauty once it's all cleaned up and reassembled.

Congratulations mcgolden. Sure is a beauty. There is something special about the 1989 shade of red. It is like a Candy Apple red color. I have flipped a lot of red kettles but have only come across one in this shade of red like yours. It to was an L Code OTP. I regret having sold it. Hope to come across one again someday.

Didn't get to cook on my recently acquired One Touch Plus this weekend, but finally got the legs and triangle all shined up and got it all reassembled. Added some nice teak Zavod handles that needed a home too. Hope to fire up next weekend.
