I found this on this on the side of the road. Looking at the weber ranger gave me an idea. I found the bke parts on the side of the road also. This project cost nothing except for the budweisers while fabricating.

For God's sake keep that thing on level ground.
You don't need to be chasing it down hill
with a belly full of hot coals!! :o
That thing is awesome!! You should wire the bike's brake mechanism to the bowl handle, then use some kind of bracket to keep the lever pulled to hold the grill in place

Yea I was thinks about using an old 3 speed gear changer. It would click and hold the brake in place. place. Think I am going to change front tire out from a 16 to a 12. I will have to cut the 2 backs down to make level. Should be able to get the ash catcher back in. Travels real nice over the lawn though
I cant wait to see where your going with this project...

A broomstick shoved in the spokes will work as a parking brake. As kids, we would pretend to be Evel Knievel with our bikes. We would take turns riding our bikes down a steep hill and the rest would throw a broomstick, trying to stick it into a wheel. Hitting the front wheel earned extra points and provided for spectacular crashes (no helmet in those days). Don't know how we survived some of the shit we did as kids.
