On FB, a NEW Sam Adams 18 is listed. OP wants 200.00. I think its Waaaay out of bounds.
I will offer considerably less.
Just getting an Idea about price. I know.. Its only worth what the buy wants to pay. and ME being the potential buyer, I will offer half, @$100. Is this considered an insult or a reality check for the poster?

I say offer $100 and see what the seller says. You will only pay so much for what you want. These come up once in awhile for sale. Don't sweat it.

Jeff, It depends...color and if it has one of the Sam grates. Half is a good place to start, less if it's black.

Jeff, I think $100 is a reasonable offer. It does have the custom grate so that is an added bonus. The worse they can do is come back with a "No." At best they'll take your offer or maybe begin a negotiation process.

Personally i think the top is 100. They are out there as far as i know they made a shit ton black blue and copper, grate and no grate, non taco and taco.

In the past year I've scored a black and a blue (both new in box) but only one came with the custom grate. I paid far less than the numbers being thrown around for both so guess I got good deals!
While we're on the topic here; I've heard reference to an even nicer, custom Sam Adams cast iron grate. Still yet to see a picture of it though. So does it exist? Anyone have a photo?
