Title: Propane knowledge needed
Post by: GrillGuyMosier on February 16, 2018, 12:16:00 PM
Any reason a performer burner tube would allow the flame to be contained before the crimped area? It looks clean inside tube. I have scraped and blew it out.  It doesn't do it every time. Sometimes no flame will come out the end, it stays trapped between the crimped area and the hose and also makes a gurgling sound.

Usually a pressure/regulator issue if the Venturi is clean

Yes the tank if full lol
I did clean the orfice out and i switched things around from my different performers.
i am also thinking its a bad regulator, not enough pressure.
guess its time to update the SSP with a 1 pound regulator

Bugs and ashes get in the burner tube and that can congest the flow. Try blowing water through the tube with the orifice & hose removed.

I had to put a carburetor on one of mine.
