I paid $80 for a new cover, some grill utensils, NIB sweeps, charcoal, and 4 small tanks of propane; the performer came free with all that lol at least that's how I'd like to think of it given the retail value of those things.
I haven't had a chance to cleaner her up yet but there is minimal build up and a few grease spots on the outside bowl. There is a small chip in the lid too but no big deal.
I didn't notice until I put it together that one of the ash sweep fins is not flush against the bowl, so I'm glad it came with a new set. Hopefully I can get them off because the two grills I've picked up I haven't been able to remove the sweep assembly due to rust, even after using PB Blaster for days. Any advice?
I also plan to sell my black performer (same vent code), which needed a new cover anyways, and probably break even. I'll also move the zav handle on that to this one when after I sell it. That is the only way my wife is letting me keep this one haha. Though it hasn't hit me until now that the black one was my first <3 and I'm sad at the thought of letting it go...

Keep your first grill and keep your wife also. Just warn her that you don't want to have to chose between her and the grill. I'm sure she'll understand.

Congrats!!! I just got the twin of yours today for $75. As I was heading back home I found a WSM 18" that was for sale for about 3 weeks asking $150 and I offered him $75 and must have caught him at the right time because he said come on by and it was in my truck 20 minutes later. It was a good Weber day.
These green Crate and Barrel Performers really look much better in person then in the pictures.

Congrats, I got my 2010 grass green for $40 these are bar none the prettiest of the performers. Still holding out for a dove gray.

Nice!! I see some GBS inserts came with it too? That's a good deal. And I completely agree they look better in person.

Yes it did come with a cast iron sear insert but I'm not a big fan of the cast iron grates. Would rather have your cover and other goodies.
