I think this recipe with a pound of sausage will make 12 of them turds or roughly 1 3/4" Grilla Balls. Honestly I haven't tried it yet.
You can make these without tooth picks, by rolling them so the flap is on the bottom, but you dont get to see the cheese oozing while they cook + the cheese might blob onto the fire grate.
