Title: Help identifying this model
Post by: notmyrealuser on January 16, 2018, 05:12:35 PM
Hello WKC, new to the group! My name is Andy, I have two kettles, a Performer form 2012 and a standard kettle from 2014. Looking to add to my fleet, anyone out there be able to help me identify the model/year, or anthing at all on this guy?

Very cool grill.  It's a Buddy L Sunburst kettle.  Made from cast aluminum. Has a hinged lid, really small ash bucket, and the grate wires run from center to outer edge to mimic a sunburst.

Cast aluminum, wow! It was listed as a weber on CL, may still be interested. Is it worth $25? THat's what they are asking.... I'll have to do some research to see if I can find the year etc. Thanks Brewtown!

$25 is a great price.  If you don't like it, you can always pawn it off on me.
Not a lotta info out there, but from what I've found, I believe it's mid-late 70's. I have the Structo version of this model.
