The moons lined up a few weeks ago for me. I had a bbq trip to California, found a 1978 blue on CL for $20, got an agent there to secure it and deliver it to the contest. Free shipping of the grill to FL courtesy of the contest organizer. It arrived a few days ago and I got to start working on it today. Some kind of dull haze all over it. Maybe CA pollution? Lots of 0000 rubbing later she's shining again. Tomorrow the legs and triangle. Wheels are crap so I'll need to order some more. This one was just meant to be.
