Yes, absolutely. It gave it almost a minty quality, hard to explain but I'll certainly try it a again. Not sure if it matters but the planks I used were a bit thicker than most and I think they were branded by the Martha Stewart line from Macy's.

Well heck that's the second time today I have seen cedar planked meatloaf...
Thinkin I may need to give it a try...
I have two cedar planks laying around.... hmmmmmm wife wants salmon.... I dont... hmmmmmmm
