Wow Waz, you scored big time with that kettle!
Tell us more about how far you had to go to pick it up
And what's the first cook?
Hogsy,
It was a 6 hour round trip to pick it up.The wife said I was mad,but I was a man on a mission ;D
This weekend is fathers day here, so I might get some presents I need for it like,Chimney ,beads, gloves ect hopefully.
So the following weekend I will give it a burl. Going to try a Pork shoulder first for a rookie cook.
Hope it turns out good so the family like it. ;D
cheers.....Gutsit.
That's an amazing find!

@Gutsit that is stunning, well done. With such a long drive, treasure that kettle every cook.
Thanks Guy's,
I have been looking for one for months to get into low and slow, but could never find one.
So I joined this forum and with the help of Hogsy and Alan I scored one.
Now I just have to learn how to drive it. ;D I almost feel like I don't want to get it dirty. ;D
That is an awesome find with all the accessories ! Yes get her dirty she will enjoy it she hasn't been played with for 25 years she is begging you !!
Well played mate! Qld has been running hot with red kettles in the last few weeks. Trying to snag one here in Sydney. Might get better luck when summer gets here. 🤔
Oh my goodness. Do enjoy that beauty package......bloody amazing.
