Southern California Meet-Up - Set the date! - Saturday, September 16th
Unless we can find a better site, Doheny State Beach is where will have this meet-up. Click on this link to check it out...
Doheny State Beach (http://www.dohenystatebeach.org/park-information/day-use-and-campers/)
The park is open from 6:00am-10:00pm. I plan on being there at 6:00am sharp, or earlier, to secure one of the "first come, first serve" picnic sites. We can also hang out on the actual beach too. I'm hoping to have my family with me and making a full day of it.
I will be bringing at least one or two grills, more if I have the room. I will also bring a canopy.
Add to the list if you plan to attend.

Unless something changes in the next few days it looks like I am out for reasons similar to Troy not being sure if he was going to make it. Some of you may know I'm mainly in Denver these days, but I'm still paying for my place in Phoenix and need to fly back there instead of to Cali to get my place packed up and vacated. I was really looking forward to the meetup but need to stop the bleeding of paying for rent for a place I am no longer using. I figure the money I save might just have to go to a Weber Charcoal Summit fund!!!!!

I don't think we have an official start time just yet, but I'm still planning on getting there pretty early to secure us a spot. I plan on bringing my newly acquired Patent Pending Warrior to grill up some Carne/Polla Asada tacos, with all the fixins. Probably make some hot wings too! I'll also be bringing a canopy, just in case we need it, along with paper plates, napkins and a roll of aluminum foil.

Day use parking is $15 per car. You can walk or bicycle in for free if you can find a spot on surface streets.
